**Associate Business Development Manager - Vienna, Austria**

**Better starts and ends with the customer**

We will be looking for you to support our Business-to-Business sales team in winning new clients whilst at the same time gaining the necessary skills to grow into a sales role yourself. You will be performing market analysis, attending on
- and offline events, and supporting sales campaigns. You will influence everyone from the owner of a start-up to the finance director or chief executive officer of a large, established corporation. By using consultative selling techniques, you will need to understand the challenges that our prospects face when trading overseas, be able to provide bespoke solutions, and progress toward securing sustainable, profitable trading relationships. You will assist throughout the sales cycle, be the primary point of contact for the new customer acquired, and work together with other colleagues from various departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

You are motivated, have a strong desire to grow into a professional sales role and bring the enthusiasm and interest for the requirements of internationally active companies. Furthermore, you are self-reliant and proactive, but at the same time you can work collaboratively in a team. In addition to the principles of consultative selling, you use all known possibilities of customer acquisition (e.g. networking events, trade fairs, cold calls, etc.). Ideally, your studies were finance-related, and you have already gained some experience in the finance industry. Please also note that you must ideally have a native level of German to be successful in this role.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Following the Western Union Business Solutions divestiture announcement on August 4, 2021, recruitment efforts will continue for this position on behalf of Western Union. However, as part of the divestiture agreement, this position will transition to the purchasing company should the transaction conclude. We are under legal obligation to indicate the minimum salary, which is EUR 32,092.20 gross per year for this position. However, our attractive compensation packages follow current market salaries and can therefore be significantly above the indicated minimum salary.

Maintain, grow and develop excellent working relationships both internally and externally at all levels across WUBS and up to C-Suite level.

Create monthly self-generated leads, non-existed in SFDC.

Connect across all Payment Products Teams to develop sales pipeline to drive revenue.

Reactivate non-trading/ non-active clients

Respond quickly to lead submissions to accurately determine lead value.

Gain a comprehensive understanding all WUBS Products and Services. Being able to demonstrate to a wide audience.

Gain a comprehensive understanding and usage of CRM tools.

Accurately forecast trades, revenue and timings of customer deals.

Meet monthly / quarterly performance targets and required daily/weekly set KPI’s

Have the drive and desire to work on their own initiative whilst being a 100% team player. Continued self development of sales nurturing techniques and skills.
