The sister-restaurant of Seven North Vienna, located in Hamburg’s vibrant Altstadt and designed by the celebrated chef Eyal Shani. Pulling inspiration from mainly Mediterranean, French, German and Italian cuisines, our chefs create pure and surprising dishes meant to be shared. As Chef Eyal says, we hope you “feel free and feel love” in our spontaneous, passionate restaurant. We’re looking forward to sharing a good time with you.
We’re collaborating with one of Israel’s most well-known chefs. Operating a stunning 15+ restaurants in cities like Tel Aviv, Melbourne, New York and Paris, he has conquered the restaurant-scene city by city for the past 11 years. Imagine an all-day restaurant with a huge open kitchen counter, dishes that are suitable to be shared, a big cocktail bar, stimulating music and a menu based on the southern Mediterranean cuisine.
**Responsibilities**
- Welcome guests to the venue
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
- Manage reservations
- Escort guests to assigned dining or bar areas
- Provide menus and announce the waiter’s name
- Greet guests upon their departure
- Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
- Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
- Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries
- Assist wait staff as needed
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and professional hostess with relevant experience who wants to join our opening team to put this new restaurant and cocktail bar on the map. They are hands-on, amazing with the team, love the personal approach of an informal restaurant environment, can quickly establish credibility and respect and perform well at building strong working relationships.
- Previous work experience as a hostess
- Excellent customer service skills (in person, writing and speaking)
- Flexible availability on nights and weekends
- Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift
- Active listening and effective communication skills (fluent in speaking English)
