Backfill Desktop Support Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Backfill Technician to join our team in Linz, Austria.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and ensure usability of hardware and software components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows workstations and mobility support/management.
- Repair or replace damaged hardware such as laptops, desktops, and iPads.
- Upgrade systems to support compatible software, aligning with client standards.
- Install and update anti-virus software to meet security standards defined by the client.
- Provide first-line support to users, acting as the primary point of contact for error reporting and ticket management.
- Maintain daily ticket/queue management efficiently.
- Establish and maintain effective rapport with all departments and colleagues.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in desktop support or a similar role.
- Expertise in managing Windows environments, including SCCM 2012 and O365.
- Strong understanding of hardware components and software compatibility.
- Ability to troubleshoot and effectively communicate solutions.
- Excellent organizational skills and capacity to manage multiple issues simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.

**Language Requirement**: Native, C1/C2 language proficiency (German)
**Contract Duration**: 1 Year
