**Company Description**:
**PostgreSQL | DBA | DB as a Service | AWS Aurora | Azure | GCP**

You will work in a multifunctional team, acting as an internal service provider for development teams and operating PostgreSQL at scale on various Hyperscalers. Developers need to rely on a seamless PostgreSQL database backend, just by annotating the service and ideally everything else is taken care of.

In case of service degradation, (hot-)fixing a database, running under high load, and later analyzing the root-causes during Post-Mortems in order to prevent further occurrences and increase resilience.
**Your role**
Support the development teams with performance optimizations and query optimization
- Automating orchestration of database backends, utilizing service offerings where possible
- Acting as Special Matter Expert for internal customers/consumers

**Qualifications**:

- Technical study related to Software Engineering or similar
- A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience with administering PostgreSQL deployments
- A minimum of 2+ years of public cloud exposure
- Automation and building resilient (self-healing) deployments is part of your daily routine
- Terraform knowhow is a big plus

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 73,600 gross per year based on full-time employment (38,5 hours/week). We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
