**Your personal sphere of play**:
In the Department of Economic Sociology at the Faculty of Economics, Business and Statistics a position of a Research Associate (post doc) will be filled by March 1st, 2025. The position is limited to a four-year period, which can be extended by two years in case of a positive evaluation. The position holder is expected to develop their own research program in economic sociology - an area in sociology which addresses economic phenomena in societal contexts - including the acquisition of external funds as well as contributing to ongoing projects in the department. The department is looking for a personality who primarily engages in a quantitative, preferably experimental approach to research.
**Your future tasks**:
Your tasks will encompass research, teaching (according to the regulations of the collective agreement) and administration in the Department of Economic Sociology.

- n Firm understanding of the collection and analysis of survey or experimental data and of the relevant statistical techniques, preferably documented by publications in peer-reviewed journal
- s Use of experimental methods, a pertinent teaching record and international experience are of advantage
