**Sr Medical Advisor (f/m/d) Hematology**:

**What you will do**
- Lead and develop the local medical strategy and medical activities for defined product(s) in the respective therapeutic area, incl. pipeline molecules
- Develop local medical plan & activities, in line with cross-functional local and global strategy
- Ensure consistency of medical content and scientific messages with local strategy
- Implement and facilitate medical/scientific educational meetings and advisory boards
- Develop & position Austrian Scientific Experts in regional & international Amgen activities
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with selected current and future Scientific Experts, medical societies & study groups and understand the relevant external networks
- Manage internal relationships and serve as point of contact for local and international Amgen teams in respective therapeutic area
- Partner and closely work with Brand Leads and BU Management in the development and execution of the local brand plan
- Develop and implement medical engagement plans in defined geographic territory
- Gather and process relevant (medical) insights from external interactions
- Discuss up-to-date scientific topics, clinical outcomes and patient benefits with Scientific Experts and other relevant stakeholders like hospital pharmacists
- Give medical/scientific presentations at Amgen and/or 3rd party educational meetings
- Attend & support national and international congresses
- Cooperate with clinical study team regarding study feasibility, site selection and site engagement as needed
- Identify new collaboration opportunities, manage Medical sponsorships
- Comply with all relevant internal processes, external laws and regulations

**What we expect of you**
- Degree in Natural Sciences (e.g. PhD preferred, MSc, MD)
- Fluency in German and English, both in oral and written communication
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Affairs in pharmaceutical industry
- Expertise in the therapeutic area and related indications preferred
- External network in hematology and/or oncology preferred
- Sound understanding of the country local health care system
- Experience in the conduct of scientific research, interpretation and communication of scientific results and publications
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development, product lifecycle and commercialization process (incl. budgeting & forecasting), with advanced understanding of other functions within pharmaceutical industry
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team (e.g., Commercial, Clin Development, Global teams, Market Access, Regulatory, Safety, etc.)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Sound project management and IT skills
- Willingness to travel locally on regular basis and internationally as needed
- Proactivity to continuously develop knowledge and capabilities
- Team-spirit and open-mindedness
