**Donation Processing Coordinator**

Alliance Defending Freedom International is looking for a highly efficient Donation Processing Coordinator to join our Vienna office.As the Donation Processing Coordinator, you are a vital part of ADF International in Vienna, Austria. In this role, you will report to the Direct Response Manager and are responsible for ensuring the accurate recording and processing of incoming donations. You will process incoming donations received via multiple channels and from countries: transfers to the bank account, checks, credit cards, online payment systems. You will verify and post accurate data to the donor database. You will create new accounts in the donor database and help maintain the database.

**Your Essential Responsibilities**:

- Ensures efficiency and timeliness in processing donor information and donations using best practice techniques to maintain optimal data integrity.
- Maintain quality assurance procedures, ensure internal controls in accordance to policy; implement and monitor controls to timely identify errors and implement necessary corrections.
- Maintain the confidentiality and ensure GDPR compliance of donor records.
- Process, deposit, and record incoming donations (online banking, credit cards, online payment systems such as Stripe, PayPal, Google PayPal, recurring giving (creating and updating) etc,in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Open and sort donation mail.
- Scan images of donation correspondence data.
- Review and update existing individual and organization records as part of donation processing.
- Create new individual and organization records when appropriate.
- Perform complex constituent data entry with acute attention to detail.
- Record and maintain all direct debit and recurring donations.
- Ensure the production of timely acknowledgements to donors.
- Maintain the donor database with accurate and updated information. Constantly work on optimizing processes and tooling.
- Develop and compile analytics and reports as needed.

**Skills You Need to Succeed**:
Demonstrated proficiency in:

- Strong MS Office skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. List of proficiency developed through training or experience.
- Working with most common digital payment systems (Stripe, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay etc.)
- Working with professional CRM systems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to:

- Work proactively and autonomously, finding and implementing best practice.
- Work with a team in any role necessary for success and/or to work independently as needed with minimum supervision.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in performing duties
- Work alone as a self-starter
- Work with different teams across the organization

**Education and/or Experience**:

- Bachelor degree in accounting or finances or equivalent professional experience
- 1 to 3 years Accounting, controlling or gift processing experience (ideally for charities or non-profit organizations).
- Database management
- Payment systems
- High English proficiency and fluent German required
**Work permit for Austria or EU citizenship required
