The Department of Neuroscience and Developmental Biology is looking for a dedicated Third-Party Funding Officer for the administrative coordination of externally funded projects, preferably with relevant experience in general (university) administration. **Duration of employment**: 6 month/s

**Extent of Employment**: 40 hours/week

Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: -54 VwGr. IIIb with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.

The scope of duties and activities includes: Coordination of third-party funding activities (across departments) - Support of project leaders and staff in the administrative implementation of projects from start to finish - Independent and autonomous organization of administrative processes in the third-party funding area and general budget (budget and personnel agendas) - Support of project staff in formalities related to personnel agendas (absence management such as vacation and business trips) and support of project leadership in the admission of new project staff - Interface between departments and internal university institutions (Dean's Office, Finance and Controlling, Human Resources, Research Services etc.) as well as non-university institutions (funding agencies and project partners) with regard to externally funded projects - Independent invoice processing and budget control as well as preparation of interim and final invoices for project funds - General administrative agendas of the Department

**Profile**:

- baccalaureate - Computer literacy (MS Office, Typo3, i3v) - Very good command of oral and written language (German and English)

High level of service and customer orientation - admin. Experience with third-party funded projects is an advantage - Ability to work in a team - Willingness for further training |
