**Role Overview**

As a Business Development Manager SME you are responsible for the complete sales process of the hotel solutions from the acquisition of new customers to the handover to the Key Account Team for the Central & Eastern Europe area. You acquire new customers in the SME segment and negotiate and draw up contracts with the customers for the entire sales area.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Sales responsibility for existing customers and new customer acquisition in the area of SME segment
- Develop and implement a sales pipeline for all products and services offered, including PMS, hotel TV/guest internet/content managed services and payment solutions
- You understand the business needs of the hotels and have the responsibility for revenue and sales in your sales area
- Consulting on our products and new developments for prospective and existing customers
- Planning and realization of product presentations on site for prospective and existing customers
- Preparation of offers, as well as offer pursuit up to the conclusion of the contract
- Conducting contract negotiations at decision-maker level
- Active client support, successful deepening and expansion of client relationships
- You ensure that all sales activities are clearly reported, documented and passed on internally
- Contact person for customer requests regarding offers, contracts and products
- Interface with other departments and our sales partners
- Support and participation in industry-specific events, trade fairs and marketing activities

**Who you are**:

- Successfully completed training in the hotel industry or comparable training
- At least two years of professional experience in the hotel industry and preferably experience in sales of PMS
- Business fluent German and very good English skills, both written and spoken
- Love for the hotel industry and people as well as technical affinity (e.g. networks, communication systems, software, TV/Wifi)
- Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
- Customer-oriented work and the ambition to always provide first-class service
- The ability to work independently and in an organized manner, to make decisions and not to shy away from responsibility
- A quick perception and pleasure in finding suitable solutions with customers
- Communication and team skills, as well as a confident manner and assertiveness

**Competitive Pay**We don’t want you to worry about your pay and wonder if you can have it better someplace else. We follow the market and evaluate salary benchmarks through the year to make sure any salary increases remove any worries and keep you satisfied. We review pay annually to make sure we are paying you what you’re worth.

The minimum monthly salary for this position is EUR 2,500 gross (14 times a year) on the basis of full-time employment (38.5 hours/week). An overpayment in line with the market is offered depending on qualifications and experience.
