The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna is looking for a Lady or Gentlemen for the position of:
**Head of Catering & Event Sales**

We are looking for a dynamic leader who has a clear sales approach, enjoys the pro-active sales part as much as planning for events and groups alike. Our customers range from senior corporates, Tour Series to the entertainment sector hence you should be an open-minded and out-going person who easily develops strong relationships and delivers a personalized service.

The Head of Catering & Event Sales** **performs key functions such as handling events and customer service, bookings of all types of non-residential events from various sources of leads, soliciting business, sales call and administration for the largest banqueting space in the luxury hotel segment in Vienna. Through proper handover process, the Head of Catering & Event Sales also manages entire MICE groups (both rooms and events) after the contract is signed by Sales Managers.

The Head of Catering & Event Sales** **interfaces with the hotel management (Director of Groups, Director of Sales & Marketing, Director of F&B) to report on operational matters, personnel issues, individual sales and service performance; as well as market survey related to Events Sales department. Additionally, the Head of Catering & Event Sales has a small team with direct responsibilities to develop and support.

**Your Competencies**:

- Previous experience in a similar position within the luxury hospitality
- Fluent in German and English (every other language are advantageous)
- A valid working permission for Austria is required
- Outgoing and open-minded personality with leadership experience and resilience in peak times
- High organizational and rhetoric skills
- Sincere care for our clients and their requests
- A friendly, well-groomed and professional appearance
- OPERA skills are advantageous
