- **Orthopaedic therapies**to promote healing of fractures and joint diseases.
- **Oncological Therapies**for the treatment of primary and secondary solid tumours.
- **Gene Therapies**therapeutic or prophylactic nucleic acid vaccines.

IGEA collaborates with numerous healthcare facilities and universities to develop effective therapies for patients. This commitment is reflected in the principle that guides IGEA staff every day.

We are currently recruiting a highly motivated **Medical Sales Representative** to develop our **Orthopaedic **business in South Tyrol _ Austria _ Bavaria

**Purpose of Role**

The Sales Rep primary role is to drive sales growth and establish long-lasting partnerships within the public and private healthcare organisation. He will plan, execute and manage the entire sales funnel from lead generation to conversion and loyalty.

**Role & Responsibilities**
- Sales calls and meeting with key decision makers to introduce our orthopaedic product portfolio.
- Identify new business opportunities via promotional and commercial field activities, effectively using a variety of sales tactics (including cold calling, pre-booked meetings, etc.)
- Manage the entire sales funnel from lead generation to conversion and loyalty
- Work closely with orthopaedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, nursing staff, hospital administration, supply chain and other relevant stakeholders to achieve sales objectives.
- Executes the sales plan and thoughtfully produce monthly and quarterly updates to the plan and review process.
- Complete weekly reports using the dedicated CRM software.
- Design and implement commercial strategies to drive sales in the assigned territory
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key clinicians in the assigned territory.
- Represent IGEA at conferences and events to generate new leads, build relationships and keep up to date with the latest scientific data.
- Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, competition in the industry and positioning of the therapy.
- Field based with frequent travel in the assigned territory and sometimes in IGEA Head Office Italy or IGEA Office in Germany

**Key skills and Qualifications**
- Commercial sales expert with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry. Experience in orthopaedics will be advantageous.
- Self-motivated with a strong commercial acumen and can-do attitude.
- Prepared to travel extensively within the assigned territory and occasionally to our HQ in Italy.
- Fluent in German, in English. Italian will be advantageous.
- Able to learn clinical aspects of the role.
- High level of interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
- A dynamic entrepreneurial approach.
- BSc in a life science discipline or healthcare is desirable but not essential.
- Brixen or Innsbruck based.
