**About The Role**:

As a **Team & Technical Lead **you will be heading the team responsible for developing, maintaining and improving a set of highly scalable, robust and versatile in house developed core.NET services - used by all Entain’s customer-facing websites. Your creativity, problem solving skills, passion for development and your expertise with the.NET framework and web services in particular will be leading the team to evolve and continuously improve the product.

You will be heading an Agile Scrum team and will contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle. You're responsible for the overall delivery of the team, deciding the priorities as well as giving directions and are in ownership of the respective Backlog.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Act as first technical contact person for the assigned projects and report on the progress as required
- Implement standards for delivery of projects across the team
- Design and develop high quality software solution based on business requirements
- Define non-functional requirements and ensure implementation according to it
- Discuss, understand and refine business requirements together with business peers
- Share/spread knowledge within and across teams
- Drive and support process improvements
- Ensure team knowledge is efficiently shared and reused
- Mentor and coach the team members

**What we need from you**:

- Solid technical education and at least 5 years of professional experience in the area of web software development
- Very experienced in developing web development in.NET c#
- Very experienced in the SOA area (web services and similar technologies - REST, PUSH, WSDL, WCF, WebAPI)
- Analysis, specification and validation of requirements for software
- Understand the different type of requirements (customer, functional, performance, design, derived and allocated requirements)
- Knowing how to design software under consideration of key aspects (like scalability, performance, maintainability, reliability, reusability, security, usability, etc.)
- Understand design patterns and know how and when to use them
- Know how to write maintainable (commented), efficient/performant (memory, etc.), reliable (accurate exception handling, etc.) and robust (clear interfaces and no runtime errors) code
- Solid understanding about source control with Git/GitLab and version management
- Understand the Scrum/Agile development processes

- Previous experience working in a large-scale and fast paced environment
- Experienced with migrating to.NET core
- Experienced with TeamCity and the build-pipeline
- Experienced with ELK (Kibana), AppDynamics
- Awareness of online gambling line of business (big picture - market knowledge, inter-department knowledge, risk awareness)
