**We are looking for an animal caretaker (M/F/d) for the maintenance of a zebrafish facility and for zebrafish husbandry**

**Your responsibilities**:

- You are responsible for feeding the fish regularly to ensure their well-being.
- Your tasks will include preparing buffers and solutions needed for experiments and maintenance.
- You will keep the system clean and organized to create optimal conditions for the fish.
- Your tasks also include the regular replacement of filters to maintain the water quality.
- You will be responsible for preparing mating and collecting zebrafish eggs for breeding purposes.
- You will also monitor the health of the fish and take the necessary measures if problems arise.
- You will also be responsible for carrying out technical repairs that are necessary for the smooth functioning of the system.

**Your profile**:

- Demonstrated knowledge of zebrafish husbandry and maintenance of zebrafish facilities.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills in English or German.
- Proactive and reliable demeanour.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong willingness and eagerness to acquire new knowledge and skills.
