The position is vacant for the period of absence of a member of staff.

**Extent of Employment**: 30 hours/week

Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: -48 VwGr. B1 Grundstufe (praedoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.

The advertised position is located in the research field for Didactics of Political Education (Univ.Prof. Dr. Dirk Lange). Main tasks in research, teaching and administration include:

- Contribution to research projects / scientific studies
- Contribution to publications / scientific articles / presentations
- Participation in teaching and independent teaching of courses as defined by the collective agreement
- Contribution to organisation of conferences, meetings, symposiums
- Support of students
- Involvement in the department's administration as well as in teaching and research administration

**Profile**:

- MA in the study field Teacher Education, Education, Social Sciences or comparable qualification
- Focus on Political Education
- Knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative methods
- Interest in Didactics of Political Education
- High command of written and oral language
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work in teams
- Experience in teaching / experience in e-learning
