Die Rail Cargo Group sucht eine:n globale:n Head of Business Unit Intermodal.

In dieser Funktion mit Dienstort Wien berichten Sie an den Vorstand für Markt & Vertrieb der Rail Cargo Austria AG. Sie verantworten die strategische Leitung und Weiterentwicklung der Business Unit für die Märkte Europa und Asien mit den 5 Segmenten Continental, Maritime, Eurasia, Terminals und Rollende Landstraße (ROLA).

**Ihre Mission**

**Sie verantworten die Verlagerung von Gütern von der Straße auf die Schiene und entwickeln das RCG-Team zum Intermodal Marktführer Europas.**
- Die strategische Ausrichtung sowie die globale Wachstumsstrategie der Business Unit Intermodal legen Sie für die Rail Cargo Group fest.
- Sie tragen länderübergreifende Budget
- sowie Ergebnisverantwortung für die gesamte Business Unit als Unternehmen innerhalb der Rail Cargo Group.
- Notwendige Investitionen prüfen Sie, erstellen konkrete Investitionspläne und treffen Endentscheidung über die Durchführung von strategischen Verkehren und sind auch bei Make-or-Buy-Entscheidungen die letzte Instanz.
- Sie sind in Zusammenarbeit mit Sales Development für laufende Produktinnovationen innerhalb der Business Unit zuständig und entwerfen maßgeschneiderte sowie wirtschaftlich optimierte Transportkonzepte für Europa und bis nach China.
- Die Beobachtung des Wettbewerbs sowie die darauf basierende Marktentwicklung mit Fokus auf Ihre Business Unit verantworten Sie.
- Sie entwickeln ein kund:innenorientiertes Leistungsangebot und tragen Verantwortung für globale und/oder strategische Accounts in der Kund:innengewinnung und -betreuung.
- Gemeinsam mit den fünf globalen Segmentmanager:innen und den Geschäftsführer:innen der Landesgesellschaften koordinieren Sie Ziele, Prioritäten und Maßnahmen, um die Business Unit Intermodal optimal zu steuern.
- Sie bauen ein kund:innen
- und ergebnisorientiertes Vertriebsteam für die Business Unit auf und sind verantwortlich für die Auswahl, Führung und Weiterentwicklung Ihres Teams gemeinsam mit den Funktionsleiter:innen und den Geschäftsführer:innen der legalen Einheiten.
- Sie planen und steuern den wirtschaftlichen Einsatz der Mitarbeiter:innen, sowie die Allokation von Engpassressourcen während des gesamten Planungs
- und Abwicklungsprozesses.

- In stressigen Situationen und bei fachlichen Herausforderungen sind Sie ein Fels in der Brandung.
- Sie bringen eine hohe Reise
- und Mobilitätsbereitschaft mit und haben ein gutes multikulturelles Verständnis.
- Sie haben eine (Fach-)Hochschule oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung erfolgreich abgeschlossen, bzw. eine vergleichbare Berufsausbildung und Führungserfahrung.
- Sie bringen mindestens 8 Jahre nationale und internationale Berufspraxis in einem Speditions-, Logistik-, oder Eisenbahnverkehrsunternehmen sowie Erfahrung in einer leitenden Funktion mit.
- Verhandlungssichere Deutsch
- und Englisch-Kenntnisse, exzellente Umgangsformen und beste Kommunikationsfähigkeiten setzen wir voraus.
