**THE POSITION**
As of now we are seeking a talented and creative Communications Expert to join our Communications team at the Boehringer Ingelheim Regional Center Vienna (RCV). The focus of the position will be to strengthen the RCV Human Pharma Communications activities by working on specific communication strategies and campaigns across all focus Therapeutic and Disease Areas.
**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Contribute to develop state-of-the-art disease awareness communications campaigns amplifying our omni-channel approach and with this support the business, including the organization of regional media events / media round table meetings
- Coordinate and internally align the implementation of globally provided and regional communications campaigns with the RCV countries and regularly touch base with communications counterparts in the local markets and PR agencies
- Support and guide the team working for the local Austrian market with the implementation of their Human Pharma Communications activities
- Handle and follow the approval process by adhering to our internal processes and compliance guidelines and govern the pool of available Human Pharma communications assets
- Taking care of the regular PR reporting
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, science, or other relevant areas with a background in corporate communications activities
- Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with deep understanding of the regulated environment for Human Pharma Communications, good skills in issues management and good editorial skills
- Willingness to work cross-functionally in a highly matrixed organization with stakeholders in various functions and hierarchy levels
- Ability to think beyond the scope of this role and how its activities affect others and the business
- Fluent business English is a Must, German and/or Eastern European languages advantageous

The minimum gross annual salary according to the collective bargaining agreement for this position is EUR 39.625,32 (full time). For the actual salary the industry benchmark as well as your qualifications and experiences are taken into consideration.
