**This position reports to**:
Head of Sourcing Electronics

**Your role and responsibilities**:

- Ensuring cost optimization for the main product groups/categories for which you are responsible (e.g. taking into account consideration of total costs of ownership, turnover rates, delivery performance) - Carrying out professional supplier management (search, selection, classification, further development, implementation and risk assessment) - Proactive market observation and analysis as well as escalation management - Interface with R&D and the procurement market to evaluate new technologies and products - Leading complex contract negotiations and professional contract management - Risk and strategy management for the main product groups/categories for which you are responsible - Data analysis, controlling and reporting - Strategic cooperation with global ABB category teams for electronic components

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Completed commercial and technical training (e.g. industrial engineering)
- Several years of relevant professional experience in international purchasing
- Market knowledge and experience in the field of electronic components (semiconductors, embedded products etc.) desired
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Diplomatic and assertive personality with strong negotiating skills
