Would you like to be part of a team of experts analyzing, reporting and modeling risks of an energy company? Because we’d love to have you in the team As a Regulatory Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring Axpo’s compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements in Switzerland, EU, UK, U.S. and Singapore and will have the chance to expand your expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.
**What you will do**:
- Implement upcoming Swiss legislation about market integrity and transparency, maintain the FinfraG framework and its international equivalents.
- Monitor the trading activity, investigate potential abusive transactions
- Liaise with traders and stakeholders of Axpo’s trading subsidiaries to ensure compliance with all relevant financial markets and commodity trading regulations
- Be responsible for the implementation of insider information management process
- Manage and develop the processes of regulatory risk and align with Compliance, Legal, Back office and IT
- Monitor and report regulatory thresholds, documentation and audit preparation
**What you bring & who you are**:
- You are a University graduate in Financial IT, finance, economics, or similar
- You have professional experience in banking or commodity trading, or in a consulting firm with a focus on quantitative risk management
- You are a team player with project management experience and a problem-solving attitude
- You possess excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite, coding experience in Python or R and SQL is considered a plus
- You are fluent in German and English, French or Italian are considered a plus
