Technical Application Support Specialist

**Role and Responsibilities**
In this role you will support the product Flight Plan Manager which is used by customers around the globe. You will need your analysis, troubleshooting and diagnostics skills in our customer-centric, fast-paced environment to boost customer satisfaction.
**Product Overview**
Flight Plan Manager is a comprehensive flight planning solution used by 30+ customers, including some of the largest airlines in the world. The product combines complete data support services — notice to airmen (NOTAMS), weather, airport suitability and airspace restrictions — with real-time alerts. The 4-D cost optimization functionality, route, altitude, speed and time are analyzed to create an optimal flight path that accounts for fuel costs, CO2 emissions and delays. Flight Plan Manager is part of CAE's Flight Management product suite that consists of Flight Plan Manager, eFlight Manager, Flight Explorer and Operations Communication Manager, which is used by leading airlines worldwide.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure consistent customer communication through different channels, including customer-facing interactions during high-severity situations.
- Interact with and support other technical and sales teams to provide the best solution for our customers.
- Working on shifts, including weekends.
**What you need**:
- Customer focus - customer satisfaction and a solution are always our focus.
- Be a great team player by training and coaching team members and supporting colleagues where needed.
- Experience in a scripting language and/or writing SQL queries is a must.
- Profound written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience in the airline industry or experience in a customer-facing role is a plus but not required.
