Mass Spectrometry Application Specialist

The Mass Spectrometry Application Specialist will be responsible for planning and performing LC, LC/MS, Tandem Quadrupole LC-MS/MS and UPC2(MS) system demonstrations as well as running sample analysis on these systems for prospective customers from the Eastern Region (Austria, Central-Eastern and South Eastern Europe, Middle East) at the demonstration laboratory in the Waters Vienna office.

Furthermore, he/she will perform post-sales system

**Responsibilities**:

- To undertake instrument demonstrations and sample analysis in the Laboratory as part of the instrument sales process.
- To carry out in-house and on-site customer training courses and to contribute to the development of new training programmes by contributing to the generation of course material and associated manuals.
- To contribute to the development and improvement in working practices/processes within the Laboratory.
- To provide technical support to customers and staff from other departments as required.
- To ensure full compliance with requirements of the Quality System and Health and Safety standards.
- To perform any duties deemed appropriate by the European Applications Laboratory Manager in a professional and efficient manner.

Qualifications:
- Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or similar field-
- Several years of experience in operation of Tandem Quadrupole LC-MS/MS systems- Excellent communication and presentation skills- Fluent English- Readiness to frequent travel within the region- Flexibility and ability to adapt to different cultures and business styles
