Portfolio Manager Global Brands (M/F/d)

Reporting to the Primary Care Therapeutic Area Lead, this role will oversee a broad portfolio of more than 30 brands with focus on women health, pain, and anti-infectives. You will have a unique opportunity to demonstrate cross-functional leadership and strong business acumen, driven by a keen understanding of the local health system. This role will require flexibility, ability to drive change and deal with uncertainty but also the opportunity to deliver creative approaches to solve issues.
This role will lead the commercial strategy for the global brand portfolio including strategy development based on strong market understanding and customer insights. It requires solid experience in project management and developing extraordinary partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Ultimately, this role will be responsible for managing the growth and lifecycle of the focus brands with the portfolio, developing OpEx and revenue forecasts and ensuring the realization of revenue and profitability targets in Austria.
- Full responsibility for developing a data driven and customer insights-focused commercial portfolio strategy aligned to global brand strategy
- Creating and executing the right marketing mix by defining effective channels to deliver key brand(s) messages in close collaboration with omni-channel marketing/customer facing teams
- Close collaboration with XFT to develop key stakeholder and congress strategies
- Oversee implementation of marketing initiatives, in collaboration with cross-functional colleagues, agencies and vendors, delivering tactics aligned to brand / portfolio strategy.
- Owning and managing the annual operating plan and LE processes that maximize the value of the portfolio
- Maximizing revenue and IBT performance through rigorous budget management
- A performance-based culture with a focus on brand performance achieved by monitoring potential risks / deviations from portfolio strategy and forecast
- Uphold and adhere to Pfizer company policies and ensure that all activities are in line with local laws and regulations
What you offer:
- You have a high degree of emotional skills, ability to lead and interact with empathy while being focused on strategy in a changing pharmaceutical environment
- University degree or equivalent qualification in the field of business administration, science or economics
- Solid understanding and experience of the Austrian Rx pharma-marketing, healthcare and pharmaceutical environment
- Marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience translating data and insights to strategies - filling the gap between why and how - and ability to clearly articulate business direction and priorities
- Strong financial, business and forecasting analytic skills
- Hands-on leader, self-motivated with a positive can-do-attitude
- Demonstrated growth mindset, accountability, and agility
- Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills
- Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Excellent Microsoft Office and digital literacy/knowledge
- Fluency in both written and verbal German and English

The salary depends on education, training and expert knowledge as well as previous experience but will at least amount to EUR 55.000 gross p.a./ full-time.
