**About your role**:
The University of Vienna’s International Office is looking to appoint a pro-active individual with a European mindset in the role of **Circle U. Project Manager** to support the university’s engagement with the Circle U. European University Alliance.

Circle U. is a university network of nine research-intensive public universities, dedicated to working together in education and research. The primary focus of the Project Manager will be to provide effective support to the Circle U. Lead in the operative management of the project, the implementation of Circle U. activities and the further embedding of the alliance throughout the University of Vienna.

The offer from the University of Vienna (UoV) is a full-time position as Project Manager, starting as soon as possible. The project contract is initially limited to half a year and in case of mutual interest, until 31.10.2027. The extension of the contract is possible and desired. Part-time (32 hours and more) is negotiable.

**Your responsibilities**:
The tasks of the appointee will be as follows:

- Ensure smooth management of the Circle U. Erasmus+ project (12.8 million EUR for the entire alliance in total) at the University of Vienna, overseeing the timely delivery of all required project outputs and fulfilling all reporting requirements associated with this project
- Support and assist the Circle U. Lead, in close cooperation with the Head of the International Office, in the execution of project tasks, ensuring continuous alignment with the university´s priorities and strategic objectives
- Organise Circle U. and UoV meetings and events
- Prepare meeting agendas and presentations
- Engage with the university and alliance community as well as external stakeholders

**Your profile**:

- Strong project and financial management skills
- Experience in preparing European project documentation, including financial and project reports, is an asset
- At least three years of relevant professional experience
- Preferably a master’s degree
- Fluent English (at least C1) is a must; at least B2 in German is a strong asset
- Knowledge of the University of Vienna and/or university structures and processes is an asset
- Problem-solving and pro-active attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ideally, a good sense of humour
