**What you can expect**:
We are looking for a talented Program Manager to be a part of the Building Block Mechatronics team looking to push boundaries, innovate and rethink existing solutions to improve competitiveness of overall mechatronics modules and subsystems for eDrive and traditional business. The Program Manager, Core Technology, Building Block Mechatronics is responsible for program management of one or more Mechatronics Core Technologies on a global base. Leading core tech program-related communications and taking full program management ownership of related activities performed by multi-disciplined, global and cross functional teams. In this function you are a key player with the following responsibilities:

- **
Leading** one or several BB Mechatronics Core Technology Programs
- Responsibility for ensuring our Core Technologies meeting the global **market expectation** and that key requirements are **aligned across all functions / customers**.
- Leading the execution in a cross-functional Simultaneous-Engineering-Team and alignment with other relevant Core Technologies & Building Blocks to **ensure flawless functionality on system level**.
- Responsibility for ensuring the** profitability of the overall business case** and that Core Technology is **completive**.

**What you bring along**:

- Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on Mechatronics, Electronics or Mechanics
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive powertrain / vehicle development and a minimum 2 years of experience in leading cross-functional teams
- Experience in business case development and program financials
- Technical understanding of automotive product, function and technology (experience with drivetrain systems & components preferred)
- Long term strategic and visionary thinking and acting
- Being result driven and endurance under stress
- Excellent analytic skills and problem-solving competence within a global team setting and global collaborations (experience in working with Asia suppliers as an advantage)
- Very strong communication and negotiation skills in English and German
- Willingness to travel on business to the extent of 15 % (basis calendar year)

Commitment and qualification are valued by us: we pay more than we have to. For this position you get a salary starting from € 60.000 gross per year (basis: 38.5 hours per week) and, above all, the unbelievably good feeling of creating something great at Magna Powertrain using your talent and personality.
