Overview:
Waters, the world's leading specialty measurement company that cares about inclusion and diversity is seeking for a Business Development Manager, Chemistry Consumables, to support the very successful growth of that businesses segment across the dynamic territories of Austria, Eastern
- and Southeastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In collaboration with the local Waters sales teams and the authorized distributors in the region you will ensure continued growth of the Waters chemistry consumables business by delivering benefits through innovation to our customers, particularly those in the pharmaceutical
- and biotechnology industry, and in life, materials-, and food sciences.
**Responsibilities**:
- Direct a team of dedicated chemistry consumable sales specialists.
- Identify new prospect markets and accounts within the territory and develop a strategy to engage and introduce them to the Waters consumables portfolio.
- Investigate new business opportunities; develop, implement, and drive strategies to capitalize on those.
- Increase market share by extending the reach of distribution channels and by building advocacy for Waters consumable technology through customer success.
- Work closely with your peers in the regional management team, in marketing, and with the Waters distributors in the territory to deliver top-level service and technical expertise to our customers.

Qualifications:
**Education**:
- University Degree in a Science-related Field
**Experience**:
- Excellent knowledge of and experience with Liquid Chromatography as an analytical tool
- Experience in technical sales, sales management, or business development
- Experience in sales of Chemistry Consumables will be an asset
Competencies:
- Highly motivated and passionate individual with drive, perseverance, and determination
- Very good business accumen
- Ability to work effectively and to grow business in a competitive market
- Proven skills in managing complex sales with multiple stakeholders using both in-person activities and remote means
- Customer focused with good level of active listening skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid team player with high degree of self-motivation
- Fluent command of English
- Ability to work in and adapt to different business cultures and styles

- Position requires frequent travel within the territory
