**Our business**

**Your role**:

- Works with the business stakeholders to identify what the business requirements are and the expected outcome
- Models and frames business scenarios that are meaningful and which impact on critical business processes and/or decisions
- Identifies what data is available and relevant, including internal and external data sources, leveraging new data collection processes such as smart meters and geo-location information or social media
- Ensures that the information used follows the compliance, access management and control policies of the organization and that it meets the qualification and assurance requirements of the business
- Works in iterative processes with the business and validates findings
- Suggests ongoing improvements to methods and algorithms that lead to findings, including new information
- Work with IT stakeholders to support data collection, integration and retention requirements based on the input collected with the business
- Educates the organization both from IT and the business perspectives on new approaches, such as testing hypotheses and statistical validation of result
- Performs large-scale experimentation and builds data-driven models to answer business questions
- Creates hypotheses and experiments to identify hidden relationships and construct new analytics methods

**Your profile**:

- University Degree/Master´s Degree in Mathematics/Informatics or Business Information
- Minimum of 7 years relevant working experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of business procedures and processes in Data Science and Advanced Analytics and latest technical trends / solutions
- Practical experience with advanced analytics tools and programming languages (e.g. Python/Scala/R)
- Practical cloud experience, Microsoft Azure (Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure ML Services etc.) is preferred
- Solid understanding of data analysis and IT solution specification
- Familiar with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, HBase, Lucene/Solr)
- Experience working with data visualization tools (e.g. Microsoft PowerBI, QlikView/QlikSense etc.)
- Excellent English skills
- Practical experience in leading a project team
- Strong communication skills and superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities
