Product Manager (d/f/m)

Come join a fantastic team As a Product Manager you are responsible for the success of your products with focus on innovation and life cycle management. You interact with R&D and the commercial teams to ensure product success. Your knowledge enables you to drive innovations and translate user need into new product concept for a successful business.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibility for specific products in the existing portfolio

Define new products, support development and launch them successfully into the market

Interface with R&D, Operations and Industrial Engineering throughout the product lifecycle

Interface with global commercial organizations to ensure market success

Organize and manage “voice of customer”

Development of new workflow solutions and product ideas with customers and internal R&D teams, based on market requirements and competitor moves

Drive customer focused innovation across a highly multidisciplinary team together with other Leica Microsystems locations in Germany

YOUR PROFILE

Strong scientific background (BSc, MSc, PhD in Life Science or Material Science)

Hands-On experience with light
- and electron microscopy including the corresponding sample preparation methods (e.g. Corelative Microscopy, HPF, milling, sample transfer, coatings, etc.)

Experience in Cryo Electron Microscopy

Experience as a Product Manager is a plus

Strong organizational skills

Excellent knowledge of English, knowledge of German desirable

High level of integrity, confidence and independence

Self-motivated with strong communication skills, (re-) presentation and interpersonal skills

Willingness to travel up to 30%

WHAT WE OFFER

For this position, the minimum salary is € 65.000/year (on a full-time basis). The actual salary will be significantly higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies
