If your answer to these questions is YES, we have an interesting job opportunity for you as our new Business Development Manager.

**The position**

You will mainly focus on identifying business opportunities and build partnerships in the private markets to cater to people with obesity, including collaboration with new stakeholders such as telemedicine and other digital health providers.

Furthermore, you will
- Develop and negotiate offers with sick funds, insurance companies and major employers in Austria
- Independently establish and maintain strong and sustainable relationships with private health insurance representatives to drive reimbursement of Novo Nordisk products
- Identify further business opportunities with new stakeholders and target them to develop jointly solutions for people with overweight and obesity
- Proactively bring together various stakeholders, i.e., Key Opinion Leaders, prescribers, and other alternative payers to foster common understanding and collaboration and to drive joint projects

As Business Development Manager you report to the Business Unit Director Obesity and you will work very closely with our Business Unit Obesity team, as well as with external stakeholders to actively drive business development and its strategic implementation.

**Qualifications**

With your impressive track record in business development and strategic roles, you have chosen to pursue this exciting opportunity. Thus, strong relationship-building skills are key for you to you shine in this position.

Your expertise in marketing and sales is an asset as is previous expertise of the pharmaceutical industry.

Furthermore,
- You have a Master’s degree or other relevant academic background in business, economics, natural sciences or pharmacology
- You have a solid understanding of the pharmaceutical market, or OTC or related FMCG industry
- You have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels
- You bring outstanding communication and presentation skills with you, as well as a digital aptitude and ease in working with IT systems
- You have excellent German (native level) and English language skills both written and spoken

**About the department**

Our obesity business unit has a strong focus on providing a solution to people with obesity. Therefore, we are set up as an agile team of sales and marketing with the business development manager as an asset to drive the development of the private weight management market.
