Who you are
- Logistics is your passion and you are fascinated by a lively retail environment. You see logistics from the perspective of our customers: as a living service.
- You have several years of professional experience in logistics, ideally in a large retail company.
- Leading a team is your passion. You have leadership experience and you can inspire, motivate and develop your employees. Your social skills and persuasiveness include an open and active approach to people.
- Strengthening your team by delegating responsibility, especially to the leaders of your flow of goods team, so that they can grow and develop according to their individual skills and experience, is a matter of course for you.
- You have know-how in the organisation of processes and the management of change processes. You think strategically and actively implement your plans.
- You take responsibility, make decisions and keep an eye on the big picture. You set priorities and delegate where it makes sense.
- You don't want to stand still. Every change is a step forward for you. Your flexibility also means that you are mobile.
- You have a good command of English.

**Responsibilities**:

- You control and optimise the entire flow of goods in your furniture store. Together with your team, you are responsible for both incoming goods and the supply of goods. With efficient logístical processes, you ensure satisfied customers.
- You are responsible for optimising the productivity of the flow of goods in order to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets and to ensure that the stock level meets customer requirements.
- You contribute to the business plan, develop logístical measures for your area and implement them.
- An IKEA store is space optimally used: because you keep an eye on capacity needs and make the most efficient and commercial use of the available space.
- The balance between profit orientation and efficiency is teamwork. You work closely with the interfaces Sales and Communication & Furnishings. Together with the other departments in the furniture store, satisfied customers are your most important goal.
- You advance your team with your knowledge and are responsible for training and further education.
- When things get tight, you are there for your employees and lend a hand yourself.

The minimum salary for this position is € 2,880 gross per month (all-in contract) based on full-time employment (38.5 hours per week). This is a permanent position.

Working hours: Flexible from Monday to Saturday, 5 days a week - every second Saturday, in early, middle and late shifts. Your working hours will be between 04:00 a.m and 08:00 p.m.
