We are currently hiring a

**Business Unit Head (all genders) Hematology and Oncology** on a full-time contract for Vienna.**:
As Business Unit (BU) Head, you are responsible for setting the vision, defining the BU strategy, ensuring execution of brand and key account plans to achieve the ambitious goals. In line with this, you develop effective sales & marketing strategies to ensure successful performance and goal achievement and will have P&L responsibility for the BU. This BU encompasses both a portfolio of Hematology (Bleeding Disorders) and Oncology (Hem and Solid) brands, including launch products.

You will be leading the BU team members and cross-functional team to deliver a superior patient & customer experience, exceed expectations of key customers, ensuring access and become best-in-class in the areas where Takeda is present.

**Your tasks in detail**:

- Creates clear strategy, objectives and priorities across this complex portfolio, ensuring clarity for the team and supporting executional excellence to meet goals.
- Coaches, mentors and develops direct and indirect team members, ensuring alignment with Takeda values, as well as performance that meets both the “what” and the “how” of the relevant individual and team goals.
- Oversees strategy brand and launch planning, ensuring they are developed based on clear cross functional, cross stakeholder insights.
- Accountable for execution excellence of both inline and launch portfolio, delivering on financial plan and forecast.
- Supports Customer Engagement Lead in leading KAM lead, ensuring high standard of cross functional account plans, I&A and OCE implementation, as well as leveraging where appropriate RWE and Value Based Partnerships.
- Develops BU team and manages change to enhance capabilities for the future including I&A, OCE, VBP and leveraging RWE.
- Leads and collaborates with Access and Policy/Advocacy teams to develop relevant strategies that maximize patient value, access and opportunity to treatment and care
- Actively collaborates with Global and regional teams including participating in agile workstreams
- Creates a team environment that fosters diversity, inclusion and equity including promoting a speak up and empowered culture, which takes care and has fun.

**Your profile**:

- Higher university degree in business/science as well a minimum of 7 years experience in commercial roles within the pharma / biotech or healthcare environment
- Demonstrated leadership experience with direct reports in a cross-functional setting including developing team members to achieve personal and professional goals.
- Strong understanding of the business model, treatment pathways and the market environment, including access, brand management, digital and customer engagement.
- Experience of managing a P&L or accountability for sales/budget including forecasting and analytics
- Strong ability to influence through relationships, cultivates a broad network of relationships within internal and external stakeholders and creates a climate that promotes sharing of information and open dialogue
- A high level of passion for growth, people empowerment and fostering diverse, inclusive and equitable culture
- Passion for patients and their needs paired with a sound knowledge of therapeutic areas and patient pathways
- Business fluent in German and English
