This is a high-profile role and requires strong leadership skills, where you combine business insights and matrix management to drive cross-functional results.
The **Strategy Lead/Senior Product Manager Oncology** defines, drives and executes the pan-tumor marketing strategy and activities and is responsible for overseeing brand-coherence across activities of the Brand Teams. The Strategy Lead closely works together with the marketers and the cross-functional team on strategy and execution.
In this position, you will report directly to the Business Unit Director Oncology & Hematology Austria.
You will have a team of 3 marketers, responsible for the indication areas Thoracic Oncology, Melanoma, Genitourinary and Upper Gastrointestinal.
This is a high-profile role within the Business Unit Oncology & Hematology and key to Bristol-Myers Squibb’s ambition to continue advancing Account Management.
**Main responsibilities**
- Develop and drive the Pan Tumor Marketing strategy, messages and tools in a cross-functional way. Ensure execution and implementation and monitor the progress by setting aligned KPIs and act accordingly.
- Empower the CBTs and support the development of impactful and persuasive indication specific marketing strategies and the execution towards the target stakeholders
- Drive and monitor the launch readiness plans, ensuring execution excellence and develop contingency plans
- Drive Cross-functional Matrix management to drive BMS Leadership, by working closely together with Medical, VAP, GRS, and other stakeholders.
- Identifies trends and developments in the dynamic field of oncology and facilitate & empower close collaboration between WW Teams (e.g. Omnichannel), the CBTs and other cross-functional partners to realize innovative initiatives in line with Brand Strategy and account management
- Keep brand cohesion for indication specific materials
- Effectively analyze performance data, market trends and field insights to evolve the strategy to secure future successes
- Coordinate IO business planning (market analysis/trends, market research, Customer satisfaction and DPE planning cross indications, demand forecast planning)
- Lead the financial forecasts for IO (projections and budget), challenge the marketers and cross-functional team with the assumptions and balancing the risks and opportunities, leading to an ambitious yet achievable target.
- Lead the demand forecast planning for IO and keep product supply / inventory oversight.

**Desired Experience/Skills**

- Strong business acumen and ability to anticipate upon (evolving) field dynamics with strict regulations
- Scientific or marketing education and strong background in (bio)pharmaceutical industry with demonstrated success in marketing (within therapeutic area is an asset)
- Strategic vision for the therapeutic area with strong experience in leading cross-functional collaboration in complex matrix and fast changing environment with strict regulations
- Proven track record of preparing product launches in Oncology
- Awareness of government policy impact and local access dynamics
- Fluent in German and English both written and spoken. Able to lead meetings in both languages
- Able to seek in-depth information and build strong relations with key customers to understand their needs
