Business Unit Head Oncology:

(M/F/d) (Full-Time, 38.5 hours/week):


Reporting directly to the General Manager Pharma Austria, the Business Unit Head Oncology will be responsible for establishing, activating and implementing GSK Oncology commercial strategies and capabilities in order to maximise commercial value.


Tasks:

  • Lead a high performing and competitive team in oncology with a portfolio in women's cancer and hematooncology.
  • Ensure strategies and activities are developed and executed in alignment with GSK's high ethics and compliance standards and all applicable local legal requirements and regulations.
  • Analyze market situations, trends and dynamics, including competitors and determine appropriate commercial approaches including pricing strategies at an account and national level as well as pre and post launch activities for the Oncology portfolio across all tumor types.
  • Develop and achieve approved and agreed financial and strategic targets for commercial operations, managing and achieving revenues as well as operational expenses.
  • Drive sales of GSK brands by effectively communicating the value and the appropriate use of our portfolio of therapeutic products.
  • Promote and detail the value of GSK products to target groups, communicating the key messages to all applicable customers with an impact in the prescribing of GSK medications or the access of GSK brands to patients.
  • Build and maintain productive, professional relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure the promotion of both GSK therapies and company image.
  • Work collaboratively with all international functions
  • Operational leadership of the commercial organization in Austria, leading and managing the team, demonstrating clear leadership, setting clear expectations as well as providing feedback to support both individual and team development
  • Act as an enterprise leader as a key member of the LOC Management Team setting the strategic vision and cultural agenda for the whole GSK Austria organization.

Qualifications:

  • Solid sales experience preferably from Pharmaceutical/Consumer Healthcare organisations (Product Manager/Product Specialist experience is a plus)
  • Experienced in the areas of Oncology (Experience in the Austrian Oncology market with established networks and well as Product launch experience in solid tumors and / or hematooncology is highly desirable)
  • Coaching skills and team management experience
  • Ability to engage people to create positive modern and balanced Culture
  • Proven trackrecord in delivering operational excellence in customer communication
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in German and English. Able to deliver positive and proactive communications and foster excellent working relationships with stakeholders at any level of the organisation


Annual gross salary in line with the market from € with corresponding overpayment, depending on your qualifications and relevant experience, as well as lucrative bonuses and company car.
