About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Advisor to join our team at MeisterLabs Software GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in driving business growth through strategic legal advice and process improvements.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience working as an in-house legal counsel, preferably in a B2B SaaS or tech environment, with expertise in IT law, data privacy (GDPR), and commercial law. You will be responsible for providing practical legal advice to internal teams, collaborating with external counsels on specialized legal matters, and establishing streamlined processes to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic legal advice to internal teams to drive business growth and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with external counsels on specialized legal matters, ensuring access to the right resources for complex challenges
  • Develop and implement legal frameworks and workflows to increase operational efficiency and upskill non-legal teams on key legal topics
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring risk-free and efficient outcomes for commercial, vendor, and customer agreements
Requirements
  • 4+ Years' Experience: Proven track record of working as an in-house legal counsel in a B2B SaaS or tech environment, with expertise in IT law, data privacy (GDPR), and commercial law
  • Strategic Partner: Proven ability to work as a business partner, collaborating with stakeholders to offer legal solutions that are practical and business-friendly
  • Ownership of Legal Processes: Ability to take charge of legal workflows, driving operational efficiency while ensuring compliance and mitigating risks
  • Contract Expertise: Experienced in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring risk-free and efficient outcomes
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal skills to navigate legal matters across multiple languages
