Strategic Global Procurement Specialist

Job Title: Strategic Global Buyer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Global Buyer to join our dynamic team at HOERBIGER. As a key member of our Strategic Business Unit - Compression, you will be responsible for developing and implementing global purchasing strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize global purchasing processes, including governance, compliance, and sustainability considerations.
  • Design, review, and implement standard contracts, NDAs, and global templates in alignment with our legal department.
  • Implement and continuously train Global Purchasing IT tools, such as Netfira, Softcon, and Celonis.
  • Detect and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Collaborate with the Global Purchasing network to drive global commodities and purchasing processes.
  • Lead strategic projects, such as sustainability initiatives.
  • Develop and implement transparent Global Purchasing reporting.
  • Manage tenders and Global Purchasing processes for goods and services.
Requirements:
  • Technical or economic degree.
  • Experience and skills in Strategic Purchasing and Process Management.
  • Project Management skills preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of economics and business administration.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, purchasing software SAP (MM), and other purchasing IT tools.
  • Knowledge of purchasing governance requirements, such as sustainability and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel (30%).
