About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sanctions Compliance Specialist to join our team at Raiffeisenbankengruppe. As a key member of our Compliance department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative solutions to manage and mitigate risk within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster collaboration with stakeholders in Compliance, IT, and Business units to integrate best practices into our product ecosystem.
  • Lead the development of a greenfield product by tapping into your regulatory knowledge and affinity for new technologies.
  • Design and implement transaction monitoring and risk assessment solutions that proactively manage and mitigate risk within the payments sphere.
  • Translate complex regulatory knowledge, such as red flags and typologies, into practical, groundbreaking compliance tools.
  • Drive innovation within our compliance framework, setting new benchmarks for the industry.
Requirements
  • Knowledge/Interest in regulatory requirements, international standards and best market practice related to Financial Sanctions, in particular on latest developments with regards to Russian and Belarus sanctions.
  • Hands on experience in Financial Sanctions.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and proactively develop product solutions to anticipate and mitigate risks.
  • Expertise and profound know-how of payment business and SWIFT message formats (MT/MX).
  • Proven ability to pinpoint potential sanction-evasion and money-laundering tactics, along with strategies for prevention.
  • Fluency in English for effective team communication and collaboration across departments.
