Global Inventory Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Inventory Manager to join our team at PALFINGER AG. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will play a critical role in driving inventory optimization and ensuring the efficient management of our global inventory.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance inventory management processes, standards, and targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including SCM, Operations, Procurement, and PLM&E, to achieve inventory optimization targets.
- Reporting and Analysis: Establish and maintain inventory reporting systems and provide regular analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
- Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to establish company-wide standards and competencies in inventory management.
- Education: University degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Experience: Multi-year work experience in SCM, with a focus on inventory management, in a global organization.
- Skills: High level of interpersonal and intercultural skills, project management skills, and a very accurate and structured way of working and presenting.
- Language: Business English.
