As a System Engineer at Renesas Electronics, you will be responsible for the development of inductive sensors, including PCB board design and layout. Your tasks will include:

  • Supporting prototype assembly of Application Modules
  • Simulating Inductive Sensor Elements using our internally developed Simulation Tool
  • Creating and maintaining technical customer documentation, including application notes and user manuals
  • Supporting the creation of "Design-In Material" for the market launch of products
  • Assisting measurements on Inductive Position Sensor Modules on a Test-Bench
  • Providing customer support and guidance from sensor prototype to mass market product
  • Contribute to application/product requirement definition from the market
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university/HTL degree in electronics, electromechanics, or a related field
  • Up to 3 years of experience in a technical role with basic knowledge of PCB design process
  • Solid expertise in PCB design and layout, with prior experience with Altium a plus
  • Knowledge of electronic laboratory equipment, such as Oscilloscopes or function generators
  • Transparent and proactive sharing of information and an agile working mindset
  • Open-minded and communicative, with a willingness to work in a global team
  • Programming language skills, such as LabView, beneficial
