About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions for customers
  • Manage technical relationships with customers and provide guidance on cloud adoption
  • Participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
  • Build technical relationships with customers and operate as their trusted advisor
  • Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching and mentoring others
Requirements
  • Background in Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture or DevOps across industries
  • Technical Degree (Computer Science, Maths, Engineering or equivalent) and/or relevant tech experience
  • Experience in managing complex sales processes with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product and technical challenges
  • English business level communication skills written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience and familiarity with software companies
  • Prior domain experience in enterprise cloud adoption and operating production workloads on AWS
  • Knowledge of cloud native design patterns, DevOps practices and AWS services
  • Experience with or understanding of common enterprise regulations, security and compliance standards
  • Public speaking experience or passion for creating technical content
