SAP is a global leader in enterprise software, and we're seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Architect, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for our customers, helping them to transform their businesses and achieve their goals.

About the Role

This is a customer-facing role, where you'll work closely with our sales teams to provide technical expertise and support to customers throughout the cloud deal cycle. You'll be responsible for presenting technical and operational aspects of our RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition offering, including managed service offerings. You'll also conduct technical assessment workshops with customers to define their future cloud architecture and plan their migration roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present technical and operational aspects of RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition offering
  • Conduct technical assessment workshops with customers to define their future cloud architecture and plan their migration roadmap
  • Guide customers on non-functional capabilities such as business continuity, cybersecurity, and compliance
  • Work on pricing using tools such as the Quote Tool and Configurator
  • Collaborate with other teams within the Customer Success board area to generate pricing and provide ongoing deal support to sales teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or business administration
  • High proficiency in customer communications and presentations
  • High proficiency in the SAP product portfolio, offerings, and industry solutions
  • Good understanding of SAP solutions, including releases and platform interdependencies
  • Good understanding of operational aspects of SAP solutions in a cloud environment
  • Good understanding of the entire platform stacks, including storage, virtualization, hardware, and networks
  • Good understanding of technical capabilities of at least one hyperscale provider (AWS, MS Azure, or GCP)
  • Ability and willingness to be part of a global team of Cloud Architects
  • Willingness to undertake customer-related travel on short notice
  • Fluency in English; any other language is an asset (German preferred)
