German Speaking Customer Service Representative in Malta

Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused German-speaking Customer Advisor to join our team in Malta. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to German-speaking clients, ensuring their travel experiences are seamless and memorable.
Main Responsibilities- Customer Support: Handle inquiries from German-speaking customers through phone, email, and live chat, offering assistance with bookings, cancellations, modifications, and general travel questions.
- Travel Expertise: Provide informed recommendations on destinations, travel options, and services to help customers plan and book their perfect trips.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and empathetic manner, ensuring satisfactory outcomes.
- Booking Assistance: Guide customers through the booking process, manage changes or cancellations as required, and ensure all details are accurately recorded in our system.
- Stay Informed: Keep up with the latest travel industry trends, promotions, and company offerings to deliver accurate and current information to clients.
- Follow-Up: Reach out to customers after their bookings to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs or questions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales and operations, to promptly and effectively address customer issues.
- Data Management: Accurately document all customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Policy Compliance: Adhere to company guidelines and regulatory requirements in all customer interactions.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both written and spoken German is essential. A solid understanding of English (B2 level or above) is also required.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, ensuring clear and effective interactions with customers.
- Customer-Centric Attitude: A passion for delivering outstanding customer service with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Professional Demeanor: Ability to handle challenging situations with patience, professionalism, and empathy.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with computer systems and quick to learn new software tools and technologies.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in customer bookings and information.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, call centers, or the travel industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Willingness to Relocate: Open to relocating to Malta if currently living abroad, with a relocation package available to support the move.
- On-Site Requirement: Must be based in Malta and available to work full-time on-site.
