The Global Product Management Team at Hoerbiger is seeking a passionate and experienced Field Service Expert to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our Field Service Academy, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our field service professionals.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive self-starter with a strong background in field service, technical training, and development. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting modern and interactive seminars, workshops, and individual training sessions for internal Field Service colleagues and customers
  • Developing comprehensive training sessions and corresponding materials, including schedules, agendas, and learning resources
  • Determining the overall effectiveness of programs and trainings, and implementing improvements as necessary
  • Collaborating with business function stakeholders to evolve and expand curricula, leveraging best practices and innovative learning methods

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 10 years of proven technical experience in field service, ideally in rotating equipment
  • Experience as a technical trainer, training specialist, or in a similar role
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • High motivation to help others develop their knowledge and skills
  • A curious mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint
  • A bachelor's or associate degree in mechanical engineering, energy engineering, or a related field
