Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at OMV. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading interdisciplinary project teams to successfully execute projects while adhering to safety, cost, scope, and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement project plans and documents, including HSSE concepts, Project Execution, and Project Quality plans.
- Develop the contracting strategy and support the approval by the Project Owner (Sourcing Council) in the projects.
- Create, maintain, and defend project cost-, scope-, and time schedules.
- Mitigate project risks through implementing proper risk management under the developed Risk Acceptance Criteria.
- Support the Project Owner in the approval process and secure resource planning while being responsible for the origination of the Project Organization Chart.
- Observe legal regulations/compliance, internal company regulations/standards, and detailed HSSE and occupational safety rules.
- Develop and approve a project communication management plan and assure that stakeholder expectations are properly managed, issues resolved, and decisions made in due time.
- Implement industry best practices and relevant management/engineering standards and procedures for the project, while also making sure that all necessary 3rd party services required for the project development during the defining and executing phase are procured and contracted in time.
- Master's degree/diploma in project management or a similar field.
- More than 12 years of relevant professional experience in project management, well-versed in leadership positions, and proficient in the oil & gas sector.
- Excellent communicative skills, enabling you to thrive in social environments, de-escalate emotional discussions, show empathy for other people, and recognize their ideas.
- An analytical mind, an unconventional way of solving problems, make decisions quickly, and have the strength to stick by them.
- Fluent in English and German, with other languages as an added benefit.
