- Leading the interdisciplinary project team with the objective of successfully executing the projects while adhering to the safety, cost, scope of work, and schedule requirements, as well as the performance indicators.
- You are responsible for preparing and developing project plans and documents (e.g., HSSE concepts, Project Execution and Project Quality plans).
- You are developing the contracting strategy and support the approval by the Project Owner (Sourcing Council) in the projects.
- Creating, maintaining, and defending the project cost-, scope
- and time schedule is an essential part of this position.
- You are actively mitigating project risks through implementing proper risk management under the developed Risk Acceptance Criteria.
- By supporting the Project Owner in the approval process, you are securing the resource planning while also being responsible for the origination of the Project Organization Chart.
- Your responsibilities also include the observance of legal regulations/compliance, internal company regulations/standards and detailed HSSE and occupational safety rules.
- You develop and approve a project communication management plan and assure that stakeholder expectations are properly managed, issues resolved, and decisions made in due time.
- Implementing industry best practices plus relevant management / engineering standards and procedures for the project, while also making sure that all necessary 3rd party services required for the project development during the defining and executing phase are procured and contracted in time.
**Your profile**
- You have a master's degree/diploma in project management or a similar field.
- You have more than 12 years of relevant professional experience in project management, are well versed in leadership positions and are proficient in the oil & gas sector.
- Your communicative skills enable you to thrive in social environments, de-escalate emotional discussions, show empathy for other people, and recognize their ideas.
- You have an analytical mind, an unconventional way of solving problems, make decisions quickly and have the strength to stick by them.
- You are fluent in English and German, with other languages as an added benefit.
