**Our business**

**Your role**:

- The broad scale responsibility for the development of projects from the idea to a defined project scope in OMV’s Refining business is one of the essentials of this position to support OMV’s path to a net-zero emissions company
- You will be responsible for development of major investments and complex new technology projects in time, budget & quality and you will lead the project in the early project phases
- You will be responsible for the economic aspects of the project and secure the commercial viability of the project in order to add value to the business and ensure OMV’s long term competitiveness
- As position holder you will motivate, coordinate and lead the experts of different disciplines in the integrated project team to develop the best concept which fulfills the business needs
- You will develop and implement cost and schedule management plans and a contracting strategy during the early phases of the project together with the project team
- You will actively manage project risks, ensure that the risk management process is applied in the project and risk mitigation measures are defined and followed up
- Regularly reports of the project status to the project owner from OMV’s senior management as well as a target oriented stake holder management complement your job profile

**Your profile**:

- You hold a master/diploma in a technical or economical field of study with at least 9 years of relevant professional experience
- Profound experience in Project Development, Project Management or Technology in Oil & Gas or Chemical industry describes your qualification
- You know how to develop and/or manage complex projects preferably within a multinational environment
- You have a high awareness of corresponding laws and regulations
- Attributes like analytical, communicative and socially skilled describe you personally
- The willingness to take into account other people’s ideas to look outwards in terms of best practices characterizes you
- You are fluent in German and English
