Position Overview

We are seeking a Product Validation Engineer to strengthen our team within the Power Sensors & Systems Division.Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
  • Conduct measurements on Infineon components utilized in motor drives, battery protection, and DCDC Power Conversion Applications, including DCDC Buck Converters, Brick Converters for Telecom, SMPS for Servers/Telecom, and Adapters.
  • Execute tests on cutting-edge devices using specially designed boards to facilitate the development and enhancement of innovative technologies.
  • Perform competitor analysis, organize and interpret data, and generate comprehensive test reports.
  • Provide technical support to the product definition engineering team, validating the product's value proposition in customer systems throughout development projects.
  • Participate in peer reviews of internal development documentation.
  • Design new application test setups (e.g., creating application test boards) and implement test automation.
  • Assist Product Application Engineering in drafting Application notes, layout, and board design.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized university or technical institution.
  • 1-3 years of relevant hands-on experience in an electrical engineering laboratory setting, including proficiency with laboratory equipment.
  • In-depth knowledge of semiconductors, particularly Power MOSFETs.
  • Experience in analyzing measurement data and effectively presenting results to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously while providing mentorship to colleagues.
  • Programming proficiency in C, C++, Visual Studio, Matlab, and PCB Design (Allegro, Altium Designer).
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Capability to deliver regular, concise project updates to team members, stakeholders, and management.
  • Fluency in English is essential, with basic German skills being advantageous.
