Role Overview:
As a Validation Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the performance and reliability of our semiconductor products in various applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Measurements: Evaluate Infineon components in applications such as motor drives, battery protection, and DCDC power conversion.
  • Execute Advanced Testing: Perform tests on innovative devices using specialized boards to enhance and refine new technologies.
  • Benchmark Competitors: Carry out competitor analysis, manage data organization, and produce comprehensive test reports.
  • Provide Technical Support: Collaborate with the product definition engineering team to validate product value propositions during development projects.
  • Engage in Peer Reviews: Participate in reviews of internal development documentation to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Develop Test Setups: Design and implement new application test setups, including automation of testing processes.
  • Assist in Documentation: Support Product Application Engineering in creating application notes and layout designs.

Qualifications:
You are well-suited for this position if you possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in an electrical engineering laboratory, including proficiency with lab equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductors, particularly Power MOSFETs.
  • Experience in data analysis and effective presentation of results to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously while guiding team members.
  • Programming skills in C, C++, Visual Studio, Matlab, and PCB Design tools (Allegro, Altium Designer).
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Capability to provide concise project updates to team members and management.
  • Fluency in English and ideally basic German skills.
