Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Sales Operations team at the BMW Group. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing and optimizing our analytics and recommendation solutions in close collaboration with our business team and IT DevOps team.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify insights in direct sales processes to support template management, stock vehicle ordering, and vehicle & stock operations.
- Analyze and query relevant data sources to identify trends, highlight any anomalies, and make recommendations for efficiencies.
- Design new and enhance existing features for our recommendation models together with our data scientists.
- Carry out regular reviews of data sources and pipelines to ensure they adequately capture the required information for analytics and recommendations.
Requirements
- Experience in data analytics and business intelligence.
- Strong analytical skills and process orientation.
- Ability to cooperate closely with our IT data engineers/-scientists as well as business colleagues.
- Strong knowledge of data models and SQL.
- Knowledge of analytical tools and languages such as Python, databases, Business Intelligence tools.
- Experience on AWS cloud (glue, athena, quicksight) is an advantage.
- Understanding of machine learning models.
- Personal initiative and 100% reliability.
- Team spirit and intercultural skills.
- Fluent in business English.
