Strategic Procurement Manager Aluminium

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Manager to join our Magna Corporate Procurement Europe team who will be responsible for developing and executing the commodity strategy for Aluminium and Die Casting.
The position is based in Europe.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the commodity strategy for Aluminium and Die Casting in alignment with the company's overall strategic objectives
- Monitor and analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process improvements
- Prepare request documents and associated bids
- Evaluate offers and negotiate, as well as present results to the sourcing board and management
- Lead the negotiation, contracting processes, and supplier relationships for Aluminium and Die Casting commodities
- Develop, negotiate, and conclude individual and framework agreements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate commodity synergies and achieve the best possible outcomes for stakeholders involved
- Work closely with the European Procurement teams across Magna Groups
- Enhance existing templates and tools to effectively present projects and savings
- Improve data quality in existing systems
