Senior Manager Procurement Aluminium Expert

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager Procurement Aluminium / Die Casting to join our Magna Corporate Procurement Europe team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the commodity strategy for Aluminium / Die Casting in alignment with the company's overall strategic objectives.
Your Responsibilities- Develop and execute the commodity strategy for Aluminium / Die Casting, aligning with the company's overall strategic objectives.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process improvements.
- Prepare request documents and associated bids, evaluating offers and negotiating with suppliers.
- Lead the negotiation, contracting processes, and supplier relationships for Aluminium / Die Casting commodities, developing and negotiating individual and framework agreements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate commodity synergies and achieve the best possible outcomes for stakeholders involved.
- Work closely with the European Procurement teams across Magna Groups, enhancing existing templates and tools to effectively present projects and savings.
- Improve data quality in existing systems, ensuring accurate and reliable information for informed decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of several years in procurement and sourcing within the automotive industry, with specific experience in Aluminium / Die Casting commodities.
- Experience in organizing cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills, with a focus on driving cost reduction and supplier performance improvement.
- Strong expertise in commodities strategy definition and implementation.
- Solid understanding of supply chain management principles.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
- Independent work style, hands-on mentality, and analytical thinking.
- Fluent in both written and spoken German and English, with additional languages beneficial.
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP.
- Willingness to travel as required.
