Postgraduate Research Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Postgraduate or Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team at the BOKU Core Facilities, Core Facility Biomolecular & Cellular Analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to a high-tech research laboratory with a focus on interpreting biochemical/biophysical data
- Provide scientific support to users in the fields of biochemical/biophysical data generation and interpretation, with a strong focus on complex biological systems
- Develop and apply non-standard evaluation methods, and interpret calorimetric data from techniques such as SPR, BLI, DSC, and ITC
- Experience with light scattering data, diffraction data, and model building
- Establish collaborations with other labs/core facilities for Cryo-EM experiments
- Perform administrative tasks, support users with grant proposals and scientific publications, and assist with teaching
- Doctoral degree/PhD in Biophysical Studies or related field
- Diploma degree in Biophysics or equivalent university degree
- Very good command of English and German, fluent in written and spoken language
- Desirable skills: previous professional experience in biophysics, programming skills, communication skills, supervision of students/users, academic teaching, and scientific writing
