">Job Summary
">We are seeking a skilled Project Controller to control project budgets and financial reports at CARE Austria while supporting country-based finance staff. You will ensure accurate and timely reporting and forecasting, as well as compliance with donor requirements.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Control project budgets and financial reports at CARE Austria;">
- Support country-based finance staff;">
- E nsure accurate and timely reporting and forecasting;">
- Comply with donor requirements;">
- Work with the program and finance team and country offices to ensure that grants are efficiently and accurately designed and budgeted;">
- Maintain internal donor financial reporting systems and budget revision tools;">
- IDentify challenges and risks related to the financial setup and management of projects in your portfolio;">
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits at country offices on behalf of CARE Austria.">
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you should have:
">- ">
- A completed business, finance or accounting degree-level education (University, college);">
- At least 3 years of experience in financial controlling, auditing or financial grant management;">
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Excel, accounting and reporting systems, AI);">
- Strong analytical mindset, critical thinking, and accurate working style;">
- Very good skills in English; Good German desired; French is an asset;">
- Excellent interpersonal, intercultural and communication skills;">
- Willingness to travel for assignments (approx. 3 weeks);">
- High commitment, initiative, and ability to work in diverse teams.">
